Have you sought Jesus today?
Are you still putting it off?
You've still got time, lots of time, right?
You could, maybe, give it some thought, perhaps, after this current personal crisis is over?
When you have more spare time to think about it.
When Jesus comes back, it will be suddenly.
Quickly.
At a time that people won't expect Him. If they even expect Him at all.
A time like now for instance. Whilst you're reading this. Eating dinner. Planning your holiday. Buying that new car. Arranging you daughter's wedding.
Would you be ready for that? Ready to meet Almighty God?
What would you say as you knelt before the Son of man, Jesus Christ?
How you were a 'good' person?
How you tried to help people? Did your best to be kind?
Your good deeds are equal God's righteousness aren't they?
Aren't they?
What would you say to Him, when He asks you "Did you seek Me when you could find Me?"
A rhetorical question on His behalf. He already knows the answer.
Jesus Christ is God. Everyone that ever lived will proclaim that fact before His face. And then...
Those that chose to receive Him, to everlasting life. Those that chose their own path, to everlasting destruction.
Whatever path you chose in this life, it will last forever.
God is glorified in the destruction of the wicked. Remember that. I pray that's not you.
Even so, come Lord Jesus.
