Candlesticks

So my old friend Dijk and I left the pub in high spirits (actually full of spirits), and staggered back to the workshop. Spending our hard earned lolly from our last sale had whet our appetites for more so Dijk set about creating another masterpiece...

His attention to detail is incredible. Dijk can turn his hand to anything, After a brief career in the Swiss Navy, Dijk spent some time as a butcher, then a baker before alighting on his new career.

I wonder how much we'll make on this one?

'The butcher, the baker, the candlestick maker...'

Nice work indeed!

He's so ingenious Jim. An old beer mat, a door knob and a loo roll holder and bingo, Tom parts with a few hundred quid!

He never reads my blog so we're bound to get away with it again...

Title:
HAUNTED CANDLESTICK HOLDER - MADE BY SPIRITS

I bet it would sell.
:-)
Sounds like a fun time.

Oh it'll be on ebay shortly Crow. My Dutch ex sailor friend insists on it as he has found a new patron...

...some chap called Tim Stevens or something...

...anyway he's bound to buy it.

How much do you want for the actual candle? Let's cut out the middle-man. I'll have it so long as it doesn't either smell of fish or your arse.

Well I can always clean it Tom.

Actually the candle is the best bit so let's say £300?

Jim

Just wait to see what Dijk can do with Pyrex...

...I think we're gonna clean up here and retire early.

Retire from what? Plumbing? Don't clean the candle - there's some Japanese that would pay good money if it had the right 'provenance'. That's the only way you're going to get your money back on that box of shite Prices candles.

I have a friend like that - he comes up with the coolest stuff.

Okay - zucchini. So far I've made dill relish (used up 8 lbs.), a zucchini egg bake, and chocolate zucchini cake (drool). If you need any recipes let me know!

Back on track. Thanks, Lisa. Please post up both recipes in this comments box, and I'll let you know how mine turns out.

Great Lisa

I'd love to see those recipes too.

Tom is probably sick of carving a candlesticks out of his vegetables...

I wouldn't want to tip him over the edge.

He might run amok with an AK47 spraying bullets in the nearest antique shop...
