Jesus Christ is God, come in the flesh, to give Himself as a sacrifice for YOUR sins. Everyone is a sinner. You need a saviour as I do.
It's optional of course, God won't make you get saved. You could choose to reject the gift of salvation through grace - but why would you 'choose' hell?
Salvation is through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Free gift, open to all who ask for it.
