God’s Promise Is Not Slack

'Beloved, I now write to you this second epistle (in both of which I stir up your pure minds by way of reminder), that you may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us, the apostles of the Lord and Savior, knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.” For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water, by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water. But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.'

'But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.'

The Day of the Lord

'But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.'

2 Peter 3:1-13

Only Jesus Christ saves.

Knowing

I know, without a doubt, that when I kick-the-bucket, I will be with Christ in Heaven, even though I am a sinner and by rights, I should not be there.

I don't deserve to enter heaven on my own good works, I could never do enough good deeds to earn it anyway. I can't buy it either - it's not for sale.

Salvation, redemption of sins and reconciliation with God is the gift of God through Jesus Christ alone. It's open to anyone and everyone right now! That includes you reader!

If you are still trusting on your own goodness you won't make it. Relying on your own self-righteousness is going to fall pitifully short. Or are you so good that you are equal to God?

Nobody is promised tomorrow so why are you waiting for 'the right time' to get saved through Christ? The day of salvation is TODAY!

You can Know for sure that you will be in heaven one day.

Today? Tomorrow? Next year? Now?

Ready?

Checklist:
Do I know Christ?
Do I acknowledge what He has truly done for me - specifically me - on the cross?
Do I accept Jesus Christ as my personal saviour?
Do I truly realise my own self righteousness falls waaaay short of God's righteousness and glory?
Have I humbled myself and asked Him for forgiveness? Do I really mean it?
Am I willing to repent, to change my mind, my life, and look to live for Jesus, knowing I am not expected to be perfect but to earnestly try to put Him first in all things and trust in Him alone?
Have I thanked Him from my heart for saving me?
Have I asked for His Holy Spirit to fill me and guide me?
Am I willing to accept, through faith alone (as a child would), who Jesus is and to look for Him, knowing that He will show Himself to me - and that is His promise?

Jesus is God. He paid the highest price for you, specifically you, to be saved - if you want it! You have a choice.

It's up to you now, the choice you make is yours and yours alone.

I hope it's the right one.

Rising rapidly

A couple of years ago in the UK there was a transport strike on fuel duty. Within days there was panic buying of fuel and food items. The supermarket aisles were quickly emptied nationwide - there were no deliveries to re-stock them.

Things returned to normal soon after, queues died down, fridges got refilled, life returned to 'normality'.

Now imagine that you couldn't get any food, couldn't get paid or gainful employment at all unless you 'opted in' to a new financial reset incl. of new technology requiring every citizen to partake.

You take the mark or you starve. Will you take the mark?

It's here. Better get your head out of the sand and see the times we are in!

Jesus Christ is God. He has paid for you in full if you will accept Him into your heart, ask for forgiveness in His name and repent, change your mind and turn to Christ. God has given you an exit to an incredible eternity with Him - it's through the door marked Jesus!

No words...

I don't hear dates or times myself. I simply have my eyes open. Not that I 'want' to see it sometimes, and I certainly don't enjoy seeing it all unfold, but all this and what is to come has to to happen.

A lot of people are going to die, in their sins. I hope and pray that you are not one of them.

You're not going to believe how bad it'll get here after the bride has gone.

Jesus Christ is the only way out of this mess. Are you in Him? It's His finished work not yours that has paid for you - for FREE! Drop the pride and grab His outstretched hand.

See it.

I 'enjoyed' a full 5 minutes of the glossed over news tonight followed by much more important world news reports about a former tory politician being, well, a full-on tory arsehole. Then a feel-good story about a stray dog.

Well, that was 10 minutes of the news killed. Followed closely by the sport and then a weather report. Same old non-news from the good 'ol BBC. Surely there are one or two real reporters still reasonably aware and sentient with just a little professionalism left loitering in a BBC basement cupboard? Or were they all left behind at BBCTV Centre and walled up in a room somewhere to rot.

THE MEDIA TELLS US ANYTHING BUT WHAT IS REALLY HAPPENING! Please tell me you know that.

The real news you have to find for yourselves - if you care enough to do so between soaps, x-factor or any other addictive diversion designed to occupy your mind until it's time for bed. Don't forget it's work tomorrow. When do we have time to look at the world?

Please. Open your eyes. Know the times we are in. This is IT! We are on a global and more importantly, spiritual countdown. Things are happening so fast it's difficult to catch a breath.

What are you doing, laughing it off? Mocking? Reading the rant of another bible-bashing loony fear-mongering on a blog?

Jesus is returning soon for those who believe in Him, for those who receive what He has done for us, for those that know He is God and that put their faith and trust in Him alone. Those that choose to repent and turn to Him will be saved. Get aboard the ark, Jesus Christ.

Shaking your head in shock, disbelief and terror after it all happens is pointless, profoundly tragic and totally unnecessary. The door out to eternal life is open for you, free to enter as a gift, and all are welcome. Tickets have been paid for, just believe you have one with your name on it and know who it was that paid your entrance fee.

Jesus is God, the only way, truth and life. Choose life now.

While we wait...

Look!

Can you see it? It is literally in your face, point blank. Step back a pace and take a long hard look. Know the truth and the times we are in - right in up to our necks. We are here, events are happening, this is IT!

How long is left for you to wake up to the truth?

I hope you make it, I really do. Jesus Christ IS the only truth, the only way. He has done it all, it is all ready for you, waiting. Just claim it - your salvation through Him and His finished work on the cross, totally completed, total victory over sin and death. Your future is assured and promised by God Himself through Christ. It is completely free, a loving gift requiring NO payment by you, Christ has paid it all. Just believe in Him, Jesus Christ, and what He has done for you, personally, in complete, unparralleled love.

Take a leap of faith and call on His name now, not later, not next week - now.

None of us are promised tomorrow.

America is about to receive judgement.

Obama is playing his part, whoever he really is, he is doing his best and succeeding. Although it's alarming, it has to happen. God is allowing it, we (those who are in Christ) shouldn't be troubled.

By removing God the Father from the very fabric of American society, those complicit within the American nation (and around the world) have aligned themselves against our creator.

Let's be clear about the above film. Allah is the greatest deceiver. Ask any Muslim and they will tell you this unless they wish to lie to your face. Allah is the father of lies, there is no truth in him. He is a murderer from the very beginning. Those who choose to follow him - follow Satan. Islam is NOT a religion of peace. While we're here lets also state this: The Pope is NOT Christ. He appears to have little or nothing to do with the Son of God, regardless.

No, it's not 'nice' to say this but it is the truth and I make no appolgies for saying any of it. Don't confuse truth with political correctness. God is no respector of persons. Why should He be?

All religion is prone to human weakness, to the evil in our hearts. Religion is mans creation, not God's. People use all sorts of vehicles to further their own selfish desires and reach their own goals, whether it be politics, media, Hollywood etc. Religion, any religion, is like any other vehicle. It is a devisive human construct, used ultimately by Satan himself for his own ends. Satan hates you and he wants to drag you down with him. He is already condemned you know, Christ won!

There is a new religion on the horizon. Can you see it? A 'worldly' religion, a new-age, new order religion. It is currently under construction and is even now being ushered in under the guise of world peace, tolerance, for the good of all mankind. It is not of God. Pretty soon you may find yourself being swept along toward it, unwilling to go against the strong flow of deception sweeping the world. Indeed you may need be part of it in order to be able to work, to buy stuff, to eat.

I'm not sure how much longer I am going to be here. Those that still read this little blog may well be pleased about that. Know this though. However badly I am doing it, I am desperately trying to tell you the truth, for your sakes, not mine. I don't want any of you to perish, and having been 'made aware' of what is coming quickly, I sincerely hope, with all that is good in my heart, that you wake up to the truth. Whether you do or not is not up to me, but I have to at least try.

Jesus Christ is not a religion. Forget about religion, religion can't save you. Don't worry about being perfect, that's not possible, not here in this fallen world. Christ died for us while we were still sinners, don't forget that. He wants you, yes you personally, to come to Him, just as you are, right now. He is waiting - for everyone and anyone - no matter what you feel you have done, good or bad, God loves you all. What more could He do but give His only begotten Son for us? That's how much you are worth to Him, how much He loves you. Your are priceless.

Open your eyes. Know the times we are in. Rid yourself of your pride and self-righteousness. You cannot enter God's kingdom via your own works, your own 'good deeds'. No one is good enough by his own righteousness. God isn't comparing you with Joseph Stalin, Adolf Hitler, that unpleasant bloke you work with that you are 'soooo' much better than. God compares you with His standard, that is to say - utter perfection. Are you up there? Really?

Jesus Christ has paid for your sin, it's all done by Him on the cross, paid for in full, once and for all. Turn to Christ. Ask Him to forgive your sins and He will. Then turn from sin (repent). Not easy to do but He never said it would be.

It is Christ's imputed righteousness that cleanses us from our sins. You will still sin, even though you try not to. If you are truly born again then you won't treat Christ's payment as a ticket to sin, but will be sorely greived when you screw up - which is going to happen. God does not expect you to be perfect.

So ditch the pride - IMHO it's the number one barrier to salvation. I have seen this with my own eyes when talking to people out and about. Unless you can admit to yourself that you are a sinner (and be sorrowful and contrite about it) you won't ask for forgiveness, in fact you will probably be offended at the very idea of being called a sinner. If you don't ask God for forgiveness of your sins He won't force you to. And there you will stay, stuck in your sin, until the day you inevitably die. Read God's word to see what will happen then!!! Totally unnecessary.

You have been given the freedom to accept or reject God's gift, His free gift of Christ Jesus - God in the flesh. His greatest desire is that you accept what He has done for you, through faith. Faith - believing without seeing, no complications, no evidence required. Just believe.

Call on the name of the Lord, Jesus Christ, and you will be saved. Ask for forgiveness for your sin, thank Him for the gift of His Son, ask Him to make you anew. Turn from your sins, change your mind about how you want to live - for the world or for God? Ask the Lord for the Holy Spirit to live inside you - and it will happen. That is a promise from God and God cannot lie! Then you will be 'born again' of the spirit and your name written in the Book of Life! Sound good? So what's stopping you?

Now keep looking up, your redemption is coming, soon!

Jesus Christ IS God. Your own personal saviour if you want Him. Won't you invite Him in?

Jesus IS God

Jesus is God. He is the Son of God, God in the flesh, fully man and fully God. The Father has paid for you through Christ Jesus, on the cross. You have been purchased at a high cost, you are loved that much.

John 1:1-5
'In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.'

John 1:14
'And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.'

1 John 5:6-8
'This is He who came by water and blood—Jesus Christ; not only by water, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is truth. For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness on earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree as one.'

1 John 5:10
'He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself; he who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed the testimony that God has given of His Son.'

1 John 5:20
'And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.'

Eph 2:22
'in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.'

Eph 3:14-19
'For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.'
2 Cor 3:17
'Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.'

John 5:16-21
'For this reason the Jews persecuted Jesus, and sought to kill Him, because He had done these things on the Sabbath. But Jesus answered them, “My Father has been working until now, and I have been working.”

'Therefore the Jews sought all the more to kill Him, because He not only broke the Sabbath, but also said that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God. Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner. For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does; and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel. For as the Father raises the dead and gives life to them, even so the Son gives life to whom He will.'

1 John 2:22
'Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son. '

Exodus 3:13-15
'Then Moses said to God, “Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they say to me, ‘What is His name?’ what shall I say to them?”

'And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’” Moreover God said to Moses, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel: ‘The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name forever, and this is My memorial to all generations.'

John 8:58
'Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.”

Luke 22:70
'Then they all said, “Are You then the Son of God?” So He said to them, “You rightly say that I am.”

John 10:33-39
'The Jews answered Him, saying, “For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy, and because You, being a Man, make Yourself God.”

'Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your law, ‘I said, “You are gods”’? If He called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken), do you say of Him whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, ‘You are blaspheming,’ because I said, ‘I am the Son of God’? If I do not do the works of My Father, do not believe Me; but if I do, though you do not believe Me, believe the works, that you may know and believe that the Father is in Me, and I in Him.” Therefore they sought again to seize Him, but He escaped out of their hand.'

John 14:19-21
“A little while longer and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you will live also. At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.”

John 17:5
'And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.'

John 17:21
'that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.'

John 17:11
'Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are.'

John 12:44-50

'Then Jesus cried out and said, “He who believes in Me, believes not in Me but in Him who sent Me. And he who sees Me sees Him who sent Me. I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness. And if anyone hears My words and does not believe, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world. He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him—the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day. For I have not spoken on My own authority; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak. And I know that His command is everlasting life. Therefore, whatever I speak, just as the Father has told Me, so I speak.”
Acts 2:21
'And it shall come to pass
That whoever calls on the name of the Lord
Shall be saved.'

Col 1:15-18
'He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.'

Col 2:9
'For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;'

2 Tim 3:16
'All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,'

Jesus is God.

So sad.

WOW! My heart is pounding. I think it's anxiety because I know where this is all leading. Not that I am anything special or anything, just that I read the Word of God - and it's all mapped out in there, in fine detail. Awesome, and very scary for those I love who have no protection, which in turn, affects me as I worry for them. That includes you too.

If you are still asleep and oblivious to what is really happening throughout the world then I can only wonder why. The Word of God tells us why of course, but all I can say is if I am concerned for you then how much more you should be concerned for yourselves and what is about to happen to you, personally and any family and loved ones who may have rejected Christ.

Please take 5 minutes to watch this video and ponder its meanings. Put down your pride and haughtyness and open your eyes and heart, if you are able to (in my experience, many simply can't).

Jesus offers you a free exit out of what's coming, no religion, no works, no money - it's free and is not for sale. All it requires of you is belief through faith. Are you prepared to have a go?

Not got faith? You can get it. It's not an instant 'POW' flash of light or anything or a sudden mystical experience (well, it wasn't for me anyway). Just read the word, let it in. It's not brainwashing, it's not propaganda, it's the truth. You have free will to accept or reject it, but at least read it first!

No time to read that huge wodge of tiny text? Agreed, it is daunting, especially to start at Genesis and wade through it. So how's about this. Read the Gospel of John (New Testament), then the Book of Acts (also NT) and then Romans (NT). They are not huge books but will give you the Gospel. And may God reveal Himself to you whilst you are reading.

Many might think, 'I don't need to read it, I already know the 'gist'of it. Well, as I have talked to folks about it, that has not been the case, frighteningly so in most cases, as what people say is often the exact polar opposite of what the Word of God actually says. With such a lot at stake, it's worth seeing and finding out for yourselves, don't you think?

I am not a member of a church, I'm not on a recruitment drive, I don't want your money or anything from you. The only one who will gain - is you.

Won't you at least consider turning to Jesus Christ?

Breathtaking Rapidity

Things are moving so fast now towards the end it is almost overwhelming. Are you awake or still slumbering?

Time is short. Are you ready to turn to the one true saviour? What horrors will you need to see in order to believe? God will allow you to make your own choice but He is long suffering, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. That includes you.

It costs you nothing but belief through faith, as a child would believe. Put your trust and faith in Jesus Christ for the redemption of your sins and repent. You will not be disappointed.

You cannot recieve salvation through a church or religion. Only Jesus Christ saves.

Call on His name today.

Cutting it fine

The world has become so wicked, so overwhelmingly evil, God's judgement is assured for ALL those who aren't in Christ and is rapidly approaching. If you read your bible (and I need to read it much more myself), you can see for yourself how God uses the stars, sun and moon for signs, controls the forces nature to cleanse and purge evil, and foreign heathen armies to destroy disobedient and evil peoples. God is a constant, He is never changing, always the same - pure, righteous, good. And He is always thourough.

If you can't bring yourself to turn to Jesus Christ for what He has already done in full for you out of pure love for you personally and except His free gift of salvation through the cross, then how's about turning to Him through a sense of self-preservation?

The fear of the Lord is not a bad thing. The love comes from the way out He has given you for free as a gift but at the ultimate price for Him - the life of His only begotten son. Without Christ, YOU will have to pay for your sin yourself. Period.

We all die eventually, for some sooner rather than later. If you are around to see the last days that are almost upon us, when the door to the ark of Christ has closed - it'll be too late.

Jesus is waiting for you right now.

Ebola biblically?

Your personal time of salvation is now!

Something wicked this way comes?

Hercolubus, Nibiru, Planet X, The Destroyer etc. etc.
A binary 'sister' star to our own sun, thought to have it's own planetary system.

Here's some facts for you. Originally the outer planets were discovered due to a search for eliptical anomalies found in the orbits of the known planets of the time. There are still unexplained anomalies (see video below).

There has been a sharp increase in the number of comets entering the inner solar system, thought to have been dragged out of orbit from within the Kuiper Belt.

NASA frequently discovers 'earth grazing' asteroids every year with little or no notice whatsoever, often taking the astronomical and scientific community completely by surprise. Since 2001, 26 atomic-bomb sized explosions have occured in remote locations around the world, mercifully far from populated areas, the massive explosions detected by a cold-war nuclear test warning network of sensors around the globe. See CTBTO (Comprehensive Nuclear Test-Ban Treaty Organisation.)

Consider then, this passage in John's Book of Revlation:

"So the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.
First Trumpet: Vegetation Struck

The first angel sounded: And hail and fire followed, mingled with blood, and they were thrown to the earth. And a third of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up.

Second Trumpet: The Seas Struck

Then the second angel sounded: And something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood. And a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.

Third Trumpet: The Waters Struck

Then the third angel sounded: And a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water. The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the water, because it was made bitter.

Fourth Trumpet: The Heavens Struck

Then the fourth angel sounded: And a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them were darkened. A third of the day did not shine, and likewise the night.

And I looked, and I heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, “Woe, woe, woe to the inhabitants of the earth, because of the remaining blasts of the trumpet of the three angels who are about to sound!”
Rev 8:6-13

"And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory."
Luke 21:25-27

"The earth is violently broken,
The earth is split open,
The earth is shaken exceedingly.
The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard,
And shall totter like a hut;
Its transgression shall be heavy upon it,
And it will fall, and not rise again.
It shall come to pass in that day
That the Lord will punish on high the host of exalted ones,
And on the earth the kings of the earth"
Isaiah 24:19-21

"And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great, fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads. His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as soon as it was born"
Rev 12:3-4

The Light & The Door...

Enter through the door whilst it is still open.

How dark the world will be when the light has gone.

Monday, 6 October 2014

Seek the Lord NOW!

He will come at an hour many won't expect. The time for delaying your salvation through Jesus Christ is over. Pleeeeeease turn to Him and seek forgiveness today, not tomorrow, not next week or next year. Today, now! It costs nothing, but humility and a turning away from sin.

All the work has already been done for you by God on the cross, you cannot earn salvation yourself through good deeds.

Make Jesus your personal saviour and repent of your sins with a contrite heart. You have nothing to fear through Jesus Christ but everything to lose if you reject Him.

Israel

There is only one way to the Father (and Heaven) and that is through the Son - Jesus Christ.

If you choose to accept His free gift of salvation, repent of your sins with a humble heart and ask for forgiveness, you will be saved through His shed blood on the cross. x

"Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." John 14:6

"All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out." John 6:37

"When Jesus heard it, He said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance." Mark 2:17

"I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance." Luke 15:7

"The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance." 2 Peter 3:9

"For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God." 1 Corinthians 1:18

Jesus Saves

Without accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour you are forever condemened by your sins. When you die (and we all do) you will kneel before our Lord and know that He is God. Because you rejected the Gospel of Christ you will be cast into the lake of fire reserved for Satan and his angels.

Jesus Christ paid for your sins on the cross, it's all been done already. Turn to Him whilst you are still alive and the door is still open to you. No one is turned away from Christ no matter how much sin you have in your life. Jesus accepts everyone. Ask the Lord for forgiveness with a humble and repentant heart and turn away from your sin. Call on the name of Jesus and you will be saved.

APOCALYPSE NOW

How much longer do we have? How many will die in their sins? Such an appauling thought I can hardly bear to think about it, let alone post here. But I have to help to warn those who choose to deny or reject the Gospel message of deliverance. Even though I am often hated for it. Sorry.

Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation. Humble yourself, ask for forgiveness in His name. Repent of your sins and lay them at the foot of the cross. No religion, just trust in Him who saves. Jesus Christ.

Sandy hair? Time for a deep shampoo.

And now rinse.

You are about to see things on this earth that nobody ever has.

Bottom line up front: If you choose not to repent of your sins and ask forgiveness, turning to Jesus Christ as your only means of salvation - you will die in your sins and go to the pit of hellfire reserved for Satan and his angels.

This is not religion. This is the truth. Jesus is returning at any moment. Now is not the time to be lukewarm.

Get saved today, now even. How late are you going to leave it?

I pray you will wake up and get your heads out of the sand.

Something to look forward to...

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."

John 3:16

Choose life. Turn to Christ while there is still time.

Why you shouldn't trust mainstream media

Why don't we see any of this on the BBC, C4, ITN? Is it to our protect to delicate sensibilities whilst we are eating our dinner, or is it so our opinions and world views can be carefully controlled.

And now the One Show - where we can send you back to sleep. Here's some fluffy bunnies to look at...shhhh, nothing to worry about, go back to sleep... shhhh....

Turn to Christ. You will be seeing Him personally anyway sooner or later (probably sooner).

Are you that far gone?

Next time you choose to mock or reduce His name to nothing remember this.

He did this for YOU!

God help and bless you all.

The Danger of the Modern Gospel - New Age BS

What happens when you die without Jesus as your own personal saviour?

You will die in your sin and are judged by God by His law. You will never have done enough to buy or earn your way into heaven, that's impossible, so you will fail. You will be sent to the lake of fire reserved for satan and his angels forever.

This isn't hate-speech, fear-mongering or bible thumping. This is the truth.

Jesus paid for your sins on the cross. It is a free gift to you, He loves you that much. If you choose to reject that, you can blame no one else, it's on you

Jesus is THE only way. Turn to Christ.

Guilt, Shame and Rejection

The bright and insightful Derek Prince. Hope you watch or listen to it all. :)

It's insanity to reject the Gospel, just crazy.

The Obama Sermon

Now replace 'Obama' with _________ (insert name). I really hope it doesn't ring true for you (it definitely did for me - before I got saved).

If it does, please consider turning to Jesus Christ. He is the ONE and ONLY way to salvation and out of hell. How late are you going to leave it?

Love Letter to Tom

Oh Tom. Thanks for your continued notes of encouragement. So here it is mate, no scripture, no chapter and verse, just me - to you.

I keep banging this drum Tom because I care about you. Despite your nasty, foul mouthed comments full of rage and hatred, I want you to get saved, and that surpasses any (slight) feelings I may have to tear into you. Do you think you need saving? Nah, probably not. Do you care that I care about you? Nah, doesn't look like it. But that doesn't really matter does it. Believe it or not, I could be doing other more profitable things than posting videos and writing posts like this to you, but I kick-started this blog again to try and reach some of the people I once knew (a bit) to show them some of the truth I have been shown. It has been the biggest thing ever to happen to me and I like to talk about it. Not because I like the sound of my own voice (or type?!) but because it's so incredible I want to share it.

You don't have to believe any of it though Tom. You don't have to believe in Jesus Christ, or in God. You have the choice, you can reject Him. But you won't fully do that will you. Because somewhere in that diamond hard, charcoal black heart of yours, there's a tiny chink of hope that makes you keep your options open. A little voice that breaks through the drunken rants, when, whatever other spirit is in you (other than the scotch), is quiet enough for you to hear it, that small voice tells you maybe you should back-off the abuse, or not go so far as to completely deny the Father or Son. You know that at any moment you could die - happens to lots and lots of other people every day - right out of the blue. And when that day comes, and it will, regardless of whether you choose to believe any of this, you will get on your knees in front of Him and beg Him for forgiveness.

I KNOW He is real Tom, you won't ever be able to shake my faith in Him or love for Him. It is greater than any love for anything else I have here on earth. And because I know He is real, and that He loves me, I also know that He loves you too. He reaches out to you, specifically you, every day. Not through me necessarily, but you know He does, deep down you know it. Maybe that's why you get so angry? Although I couldn't imagine why. Saying that, I also used to be extremely angry at the world, and frankly, I was a piece of worthless sinful crap. I still have no idea why God would pull me out of the horrific destination I was heading for, but He did, and I'm nothing special (far, far from it in your opinion) and so if I can get saved by Christ, so can you.

I would have once said 'that I was truly sorry if I offended you with any of this, of proclaiming my faith publicly in Jesus Christ, of telling people the truth, of warning them about what is coming', but not now. Your hardness of tone has been nothing less than inspirational, because now I know how utterly and completely lost some folks are and how urgent Jesus Christ's message of hope really is. There is no time to pussyfoot about.

I will put up with your abuse indefinitely if necessary Tom, or for as long as it takes or (pressingly) as long as we have. But if you really don't want to read or watch any of it here or have anything to do with me, please, remove this blog off your roll - stats, comments and followers really don't matter to me.

I pray for you Tom. If you think that is lame, weak or delusional - that's your look out. I may not like your abuse, but I love you - enough to tell you that and try to reach out.

Jude 1:15

"since it is a righteous thing with God to repay with tribulation those who trouble you, and to give you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ."
2 Thess 1:6-8

"Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells."

John 18:37

"Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

Strong Delusion

"The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness."
2 Thess 2:9-12

"But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber."
2 Peter 2:1-3

"And I heard another voice from heaven saying, "Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. For her sins have reached heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities."
Rev 18:4

FYI

"If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you.
If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.
Remember the word that I said to you, 'A servant is not greater than his master'. If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also.
But  all these things they will do to you for My name's sake, because they do not know Him who sent Me."
John 15:18-21

God loves His kids.

Surrounded by her enemies, 800+ rockets fired against her in 5 days and thousands more pointed into her heart, armies gathering at her borders and conspiracies forming against her right now in the UN and other false and dark governments and entities.
Israel will prevail. God takes care of his own!

"But you, Israel, are My servant,
Jacob whom I have chosen,
The decendants of Abraham My friend,
You whom I have taken from the ends of the earth,
And called from its farthest regions,
And said to you,
You are My servant,
I have chosen you and have not cast you away:
Fear not, for I am with you;
Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you,
Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand."
Is 41:8-10

"Thus says the LORD, the King of Israel,
And his Redeemer, the LORD of hosts:
I am the First and I am the Last;
Besides Me there is no God.
And who can proclaim as I do?
Then let him declare it and set it in order for Me,
Since I appointed the ancient people.
And the things that are coming and shall come,
Let them show these to them.
Do not fear, nor be afraid:
Have I not told you from that time, and declared it?
You are my witnesses.
Is there a God besides Me?
Indeed there is no other Rock:
I know not one."
Is 44:6-8

If you're not one of his children under Christ, please, consider becoming one now. There is still time.

Muddying the Water

Satan hates you. He wants you to join him in the burning pit forever, so he can share his eternal damnation, torture and never ending pain with you. He will stop at nothing to achieve this. If we only knew the extent of the spiritual warfare going on daily, the fight for our very souls literally rages around us and in us. Sometimes it's clear to see it with our own physical eyes - it's so intense.

And it continues to gather pace. Take this guy; The pope. His agenda, it seems, is to create a one world religion. An all inclusive, all faith conglomerate mush of all faiths serving one god. Of course it'll all have to go through him, though his new church under construction, that's a given right?

This kind of ultra religious, political doctrine, is just another weapon in satan's armoury to keep you from the truth and from salvation and therefore life. Satan hates you remember.

 It is a lie.

So do I need to go to church at all then? I can't speak for you. It has helped me. The fellowship you will get by attending a good Gospel believing church is great because you will meet other believers, have deep discussions about faith (and other stuff) and gain Holy Spirit given insights from others, give praise and worship to God together with other diverse members of the body of Christ, and find some warmth and unconditional love in the process. But Jesus Christ does NOT ' need' religion to reach you!

If you've been doing some digging for yourselves (and I sincerely hope at this hour of the clock, 11.59, you have been) you will have a better idea about what is really going on in the world, and other places.

Somewhere inside you, you already KNOW the truth. God is waiting to set you free - right now! And although you may have been pointed toward Jesus Christ, you don't need anyone to tell you what to do. Read His word, the Holy Bible - it's all in there! Listen;

You cannot receive salvation through the virgin Mary or any other false 'idols'.
You cannot get 'help' from catholic elected saints. ALL true saved Christians in Christ Jesus ARE the saints!
You do NOT need to have a mediator to receive Jesus Christ as your personal saviour. He IS your mediator between you and God! Without Him God can't help you, alive or dead.
The pope is NOT Jesus Christ, not God. Never has been, never will be.
You do NOT need to go through the pope or the catholic 'church' to receive salvation, just a humble repentant heart and acceptance of Jesus Christ as your saviour. When you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord then your real journey will begin. The truthful one.

You are a free agent. Free to choose or reject Jesus Christ. I pray you will choose life.

Who's the Daddy?!

...and He is coming. Very soon. Am I ready to meet Him? Are you?

Sunday, 29 June 2014

FYI

Imagine how you would feel if, through government decree, DEFRA (the Department for Environment Food & Rural Affairs here in the UK) ordered the acquisition of .40 calibre sub-machine guns for it's officers. Presumably so, when they are clearing out canals or butchering badgers, cattle / sheep etc they could defend themselves against local farmers and concerned environmental groups wearing colourful (but lethal) hand knitted sweaters and fingerless gloves.

Why is the US government arming its law enforcement officials, even the USDA, to the teeth?

Just asking.

Did you watch it? Scary stuff isn't it. Is it real though. What do you want to believe? What would make you more comfortable?

Turn to Christ.

Preparedness

Tinned food lasts ages and won't go to waste if it all pans out to be fear mongering. Water containers (large ones) can be filled quickly if the SHTF. If anything happens (please just look and use discernment - check it against the Word of God) you won't end up fighting against the mob for that last tin of peas or loaf of bread.

If something really did happen, (and I believe it is inevitable) it would be fair to say it would happen so quickly, sooo fast, it will take peoples breath away, and what would all the mockers and scoffers say then? Complain that nobody told them that's what.

PLEASE READ THE BIBLE. USE DISCERNMENT. CHECK WORLD EVENTS AGAINST THE WORD OF GOD. TURN TO CHRIST AS THE ONLY WAY TO SALVATION.

That is why He came in the first place - for YOU!

God bless.x

The new bogeyman under the bed...

As I was walking up the stairs,
I met a man who wasn't there.
He wasn't there again today.
I wish, I wish, he'd go away.

... is now named, apparently, *ISIS, or is it *ISIL as used by Obama himself. He would know I suppose as his administration has sponsored, armed and trained these murderously evil, blood thirsty terrorists right from the start it seems.

*ISIS - Islamic State of Iraq and Greater Syria
*ISIL - Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant
What's in a name right?

Thankfully, despite the mainstream media's efforts to deflect attention and hide truths from us common plebs and keep 'the mob' subdued, there is a huge movement underway. An awakening about the geo-political games playing out on the world stage by the key players.

But it's a stage in which really, we all play a part, whether we choose to see that we have a full, headlining part or not. You are not just a walk-on extra or just a part of the scenery. In God's eyes you have top billing, you are center stage.

Detached as I am from much of the turmoil (earthly turmoil) going on in the USA and the middle east, it's easy for me to wonder why the American people haven't already impeached this current president considering his wholesale dismemberment of the constitution and utterly cynical disregard for the laws and Godly principles laid down by the founding fathers hundreds of years ago. And anyway, who am I to say as I'm not even an American?

ISIS, ISIL, Al-Qaeda, muslim brotherhood, CIA, NSA, Haliburton, Google, Monsanto. Whatever.  What's in a name? It's largely irrelevant.

One of the most profound wake up calls I have personally had in my walk toward the Lord and as I continue to chase the rabbit down the hole, is the realisation, the biblical realisation, that... well I'll quote it directly:

'For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in heavenly places.'
Ephesians 6:12

If you have a bible I would ask that you read the word for yourself. Read Ephesians Chapter 6, all of it (relax, it's a short chapter!) and use discernment. Above all READ IT FOR YOURSELF!

Of course Obama won't be impeached. The global players in the big-boys field (or so they think) will continue to exclude us from their grown-up games whilst massive destruction, murder and horrors continue at an ever gathering pace. It will continue relentlessly to completion. Inevitably continue and get worse, far worse because it is God's will. He has a plan, a script and a part for each of us to play. A starring role. And He already knows how we will perform on the night, whether we will receive plaudits and flowers or if we get booed off stage to bad reviews in the morning.

I pray I will get a good footnote.

Minefield

The gift of discernment. These days more essential than ever. In my own personal journey here, I've listened to many people preach the Gospel  (and some very loose variations of it) both on and off the stage and I've come to realise we feel more comfortable listening to what we want to hear, what fits in with our own existing beliefs, thoughts and feelings on how we want to be, how to live.

From 'feel good' new-age ministries like Joel Osteen all the way to this guy, John MacArthur who lays it down straight. Milk and meat.

Is there any point in trying to get God to bend His will to fit our lives or should we get our lives to conform to His will? If you can stomach it, watch or listen to a full length sermon from J. MacArthur in the link below and see how it may challenge you and your (if you have any) beliefs.

The true test of any spirit (or spirit in any man or woman) is to go and check it against the Word of God yourself rather than rely on listening to another persons world view or even, dare I say it, your own.

No mother I haven't bought a bike so please calm down. :)

Who put the 't' in Chris?

A clever and amusing line that, from someone who is clever and amusing. And worthy of some sort of response I guess. Not that he'll read it or care. So here's my testimony, my witness to anyone that stumbles on this blog, probably by accident, and wondered enough to know what the heck happened.

So a couple of years ago God called me out. In all honesty nothing in life really offered any real meaning or joy. I began to see through, what for me, was a meaningless quest for 'stuff' and empty experiences that offered no real lasting joy or satisfaction. Restless really. I am currently clearing out the evidence of that right now. The stash of 'things' I bought with the money I made working long, long hours, hoping to have something to show for it all. It is shaming how much crap I have and it has brought me no pleasure at all really. Incredible!, given that's what I spent so long lusting after. Maybe some of you can identify with that? Maybe not. Some might call it depression, some would say it was some kind of mental or emotional breakdown. It must be 'cause that's what we're all supposed to do isn't it. Consume. Breakdown? In a way maybe it was.

So over a certain period of time, not sure how long really, I heard 'something' whilst working in my unit that made me properly stop and ask myself some serious questions. Not audible - I don't think I'm schizophrenic or mentally ill. Many of you may disagree. Hear me out first.

I was working on my own in a quiet workshop out in the sticks, plenty of time to hear myself think. Not very often we have a chance to do that over a prolonged period these days. Too many distractions.

Maybe I'd been hearing something inside me for a while. I know now that I had. Of course I kinda thought initially 'this is what the mid-life crisis everyone talks about must feel like'. Maybe the answer is to go with the flow. What is the standard cure for this affliction? Is it to cut-loose, have a few affairs, buy a fast bike or ride a fast woman (no, I can't say that anymore can I?) Maybe travel? Hey, maybe dabble in a bit of new age spirituality, the kind that's acceptable and popular right now, find meaning in a mysterious eastern religion or a mix of all of them! Pick which bits I wanted and suited me and leave the rest! Anything but Christianity. I mean, Christians are pompous, self-righteous prigs who never have any real fun aren't they? Always wagging the finger and being judgemental whilst being utterly hypocritical. Knitted doilies and sharp tongues.

Without a doubt, I have led a very, very sinful life. Aside from the usual sexual opportunism, greed, avarice, covetousness etc.,  etc.,  I have cast judgements on other people, their choices in life, the way they want to live. Dare I say we all do maybe to some extent, but that does not exonerate me from the truth, that I was a total sinner, and indeed continue to sin. And how do I know that? Because I took a step forward and responded to Him and I looked for Him. I bought a bible.

My religious education really consisted of 1 hour lessons a week in secondary school by an RE teacher who had long ago abandoned any real hope of teaching students that simply didn't give a shit and just had an hour's muck about. I didn't care either I think, truth be told. When you are at school you just want to fit in, go along with everyone else and not stand out unless you become a target. That was my school anyway, maybe yours was different. I understand why people convicted inside regarding faith or orientation would, in the past, hide. It's different now of course. Standing out is encouraged and that is very healthy. I look at kids now and the freedom to express themselves and I'm glad. Ironically, if you are a believing Christian that is no longer the case. Or was it ever? There are parallels here, that is not lost on me. Christians vilified here in the UK though? That was a shock. It was a shock because I was asleep.

I entered the 'faith' (if you want to call it that - Christ is NOT religious, amazing that - who knew?!) at a time when Christianity is deeply unpopular. As people feel more at liberty to do what they like with no inhibitions or restraints (like I used to live, sin - full throttle), any kind of restraint, especially something that would call into question the enjoyable way we want to live is going to make us feel uncomfortable at best and seriously offended and hurt at worst. Enough to turn many, many people away.

I 've been thinking about this very deeply for a couple of days now, for obvious reasons, and I look at it sort of like this. We all know an ex-smoker. To a forty a day-er, a born again non-smoker is the worst. Incredibly judgemental sounding, appears to occupy the moral high-ground and is sometimes seen as a zealous fundamentalist, intent on spoiling everyone else's fun. 'Why don't you just f**k off and let me live my life the way I want to. If I want to smoke myself to death, what business is that of yours?'

Fair enough, I get that. I'm not hard of heart. I hope I'm the complete opposite, but that's not for me to say is it?

As I've gone on these past couple of years, I started reading the Word of God. Myself, not hearing what someone else had to say about it, not watching the ten commandments on the tv and saying 'got it', not half remembering what I half heard at RE at school or just relying on whatever meagre resources I had in my head that I'd picked up over forty years or so watching the last five minutes of 'Songs of Praise' before something more interesting came on tele. That's what I did, not saying you were or are as ignorant as I was.

For me, initially it's hard work. Being British, I find it easier than some to read the King James Version (or New King James Version). That's not a judgement there btw. What's sometimes termed 'old English' is very poetic and with words I've noticed are difficult to transfer into modern parlance - which is why there are more modern translations out there. I stuck with the NKJV and plough through and take my time to digest it. To me, it's the word of God. Verbatim. To others it's entirely open to interpretation. And that's where the danger lies isn't it. How easy it is to put on a more comfortable slant to suit ourselves, just a tweak here and there so it's more comfortable and easier to swallow. Easier to just carry on the way we are going and perhaps just try and be better people. For some that's enough and who am I to say that's wrong?

Me, I read on. And as I read it I am learning. And it is shocking to read. What you might call sensational, maybe even mind-blowing. Definitely not boring. And very confrontational. Confrontational to others who don't believe or want to believe, yes, but personally incredibly confrontational to me. Challenging my beliefs and past way of life to the max.

So much so that it is frightening to friends who have known me for a long time, parents who have watched me grow up (now I think realising this is not just another fad), loved ones who worry about my mental stability and physical welfare. Although I don't see a huge change in me (I'm still the same bumbling idiot in many ways I always have been), everyone else seems to see something different. That is encouraging to me because it means I am changing, not just pretending.

And all of this, all of it, was spoken about 2000 years ago. What would happen when you try to drop the heavy baggage of your old life and follow Him. It's not called a narrow path for nothing, that is being shown to me crystal clearly. And it is not pleasant. I've been asking people in church about this (yep, I felt it was time to seek some fellowship). 'Where is the joy? Why am I not all 'happy-clappy' and speaking in tongues'. Hallelujah!

The truth on this for me is - I am a work in progress. I stumble and fall daily,  It's a narrow way!!! I'm gonna fall. But you should know this guys. I do not walk alone and never will. I get picked back up again, dusted down and put back on the path. I'm looked after and corrected with such gentleness and care you wouldn't believe it. That's how I know truly know He is there for me, with me. I have evidence in my life daily of His presence. He has made Himself known to me - even to someone like me.

I can't force anyone to turn to Christ, no one can. I can try, in my usual haphazard way to tell people about what I am learning, the truth of what I'm seeing, like millions of others also can or choose to see. But that's it. I'll get no brownie points or medal for it, no rewards, just resentment and shit from people who just don't want to hear it. We're commanded to just kick the dust off our feet and move on (some will have a problem even with the word 'commandment').

So please. Don't threaten me with school-ground bullying techniques on how you can cause me trouble. The world over will cause Christians trouble to the point of death. It's already happening in some places and maybe even here too one day soon. You're not offending me or troubling me. I have faith. I just pass the matter on, on to a higher authority, and I get on with it.

I hope there's maybe one solitary soul out there that might see there is no hate here. No judgement from me. How can I judge? That would make me a hypocrite. And I don't want to be like that.

But. If it came to a choice? I pray I'll always choose Jesus Christ no matter what the threat and who (or what) it comes from. Feel free to comment and fire away. I'm not hiding.

To those of you who hear something inside or want to? Listen to Him. He is there waiting for you, especially you. You are His favourite! You won't be forced or threatened with a physical death if you don't. You may even have more fun in life, I don't know. That's your choice. If you choose to take on the truth of Jesus Christ, you'll be totally amazed at how much better life gets - and how much stronger you become through Him.

I may not have arrived but I've left.

Hey, God bless you all chaps. I love all of you, even you.x

Grace

Everyone is welcome in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Prayer

Father.

I am a sinner. I have sinned and fallen short of your glory.

I repent of my sins and fall to my knees and ask for your forgiveness.

I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, Your only begotten Son,

who suffered and died on the cross for me.

The shedding of His Holy blood has washed me clean of my sins once and for all.

I believe that He was raised from the dead and that He lives and now sits at your right hand.

Through your grace His Spirit is offered to me.

Father, I accept your Son with humble gratitude, that he may enter my life,

and that He may live in me, and I in Him.

Thank you Father for my salvation through the love of your Son Jesus Christ.

The way, the truth and the life.

Amen.

I choose God, every time. If I loose my family, my friends, my livelihood or even my life, I'll choose Jesus Christ.

Looks like that all may happen.

Fallen In

Yes. I have 'fallen in' with that Christian lot.

You know, I used to just plod along, thinking I was a Christian. I mean, I was C of E, sang hymns at Christmas (are we still allowed to celebrate the birth of Christ still? Apparently that will offend other religions so maybe best not mention it at all eh?)

Hey, I'm not a bad chap, never actually murdered anyone, never kicked a pensioner and nicked her pension book, never did anything really bad right? And anyway, I texted Children in Need a fiver last year. I'm a good bloke so I'll be ok when my day comes. Right?

When I actually got to a point where I decided to chase after the heart of God, really look for Jesus, I found out why He told us to first count the cost. Although salvation is free to all and offered to all, really following Christ and not just paying lip service, consists of being misunderstood, hated, persecuted and may well end in death at the hands of others. Just posting a video that made comments about homosexuality proved that to me today. Unsurprisingly.

And unsurprisingly, the real message, which was actually just a collection of collated news reports from around the globe, was completely overtaken by a gay agenda. Inevitably, talking about faith in God through Jesus Christ is going to cause division. Surprised? Thought that Jesus was going to bring peace? Anything goes, do what you want? I thought that before. Now I know better because I actually read the bible instead of just thinking I know what's in it. And I don't try and change what's in it to suit my lifestyle of choices so I don't feel condemnation.

No, it's not easy following Christ and I stumble and fall daily. So I don't judge. But nor do I keep silent in a corner and watch my friends drive headlong off a cliff for the sake of, what? Political correctness? Being afraid of not being popular? Being outcast? Following Christ (as best I can) IS being outcast. Is it more loving to put your head above the parapet for a friend knowing it'll get blown off or easier to just go along with the crowd?

I know what's coming. It's on its way regardless of what you or I believe. I'm no better than anyone else. A sinner. I judge no one. Like Christians the world over I get it in the neck, because I've repented and made Jesus my Lord and Saviour. People don't like that. Oh yeah, they like to hear how God will be there for them when the going gets tough. When they need help, atheist or not, folks will cry out to God for help. But ask for repentance and it's "repent for what? I don't need forgiveness 'cause I don't sin, and what's God ever done for me anyway?"

For those of you that care to see this stuff hang on in there. I'm not preaching here, I'm not worth listening to. Jesus is. Listen to Him. He's at the door knocking if you'll just listen to Him.
